Wes is joined in the Shed by author, podcaster, and Fortean researcher Ashley Hilt, host of On Wednesdays We Talk Weird. Together, Wes and Ashley discuss everything Mothman: its origin story, eyewitness accounts, possible explanations, John Keel, The Mothman Prophecies movie, the Silver Bridge collapse, UFO sightings in the area at the time, the curse of Chief Cornstalk, Indrid Cold, the delightful weirdness of West Virginia, her own experience with the Mothman, and continued sightings of winged humanoids today. What really happened in Point Pleasant in 1966? Is the Mothman mere legend, an undiscovered animal, extraterrestrial, or something else entirely? Is it a harbinger of doom? Is it still around? Tune in and find out, this is one conversation you don't want to miss!
